About the Band

In its 166th year, the Westerly Band continues to provide southern New England with a variety of popular, classical, and ethnic music and, of course, marches. Being both a concert  wind ensemble and a marching band, the Westerly Band plays more than 20 "gigs"  a year, and with its library of over 1000 pieces, it provides a different program for every performance.
