On December 4, the Westerly Band held its annual Christmas concert. A crowd of nearly 200 filled the Armory. Seated cafe style, they munched on cookies and enthusiastically listened to the band as it played Holiday music.

The Chorus of Westerly hosted an Oktoberfest and asked us to provide music. Thus, a new ensemble, The Oompah Band, was formed. Fran Basso took these photographs while we played.

Summer in Wilcox Park
Westerly Band plays several concerts in the Victorian Gazebo. On July 27, 2011 the band played a selection of pieces including "Hootenanny" which initiated the "JUG BAND" section of the Westerly Band comprised of a violin soloist, guitars, washboard, plunger, blocks, spoons, and of course, jugs!
